Alexander is a visual artist and educator, with a background in cognitive neuroscience research. He trained as a fine artist at London's Central St. Martins and the Pratt Institute, NY where he also studied graduate-level philosophy. Here he discovered an interest in how the human brain processes information, leading to a Harvard research internship and his Masters in neuroscience, language & communication at UCL. 

Over the past decade, Alexander has become an internationally-recognised artist & educator, exhibiting across Europe, North America & Asia, simultaneously founding LinkyThinks and receiving multiple awards for his innovative educational resources & approaches. He has guested on numerous podcasts, panels & speaking events, featuring on social media videos that have garnered millions of views.

Most recently Alexander was awarded Best Primary Tutor of the Year in the 2023 National Tutoring Awards, and is a captivating speaker on the issues of ‘The Creative Writing Confidence Crisis’, ‘Rethinking Literacy in a Changing World’, ‘Unlocking New Teaching Ideas in a Limited Curriculum’, ‘The Revision Revolution - Rethinking Independent Learning’ and many others.
