Federico Espinosa is a linguist, educator, and EdTech leader based in the United Kingdom.

He is currently the Vice President of Learning at Lingoda GmbH, an online language learning platform where he leads the learning content, learning experience, medical experts and teacher operations teams - while guiding the product vision and roadmap from a pedagogical perspective.

He holds an MA with Distinction in Applied Linguistics from The University of Birmingham, and has previously led the Education Teams at Busuu and Mrs Wordsmith, implemented adaptive learning technologies with Knewton, and was a teacher and teacher trainer for over 10 years in the USA, Guinea, Liberia, France, the Czech Republic, and Lebanon. In his free time he is an amateur classical musician, avid traveler, scuba diver, and main human to a fluffy little dog named Spike. 

Federico joined the LinkyThinks board as a Non-Exec Director between 2024 -2026 to help grow & scale our platform, guiding the product vision and roadmap from a pedagogical perspective.
